When I started Ben Buys Houses, it was deeply personal. It was about finding that elusive balance between my career and my family life. In 2012, I was constantly on the move, traveling the country to train doctors and nurses. But deep down, I longed for stability, to become the husband and father who could share dinner with his family every night. So I went All-In on Ben Buys Indy Houses! Today we are Ben Buys Houses, because we’ve grown to serve cities all over the midwest.

As I started meeting with homeowners, I was taken aback by the murky practices that some of my competitors employed. That’s when I made a promise to myself: I’d do things differently. I would reshape how it felt to sell your home to an investor. I would accomplish this by infusing radical transparency into the customer experience.

Today, Ben Buys Indy Houses isn’t just about buying houses and it’s not just about me being home for dinner with my family. It’s about creating a business that customers speak highly of. It’s about serving my competitive drive and providing a home selling experience unmatched by our competitors. It’s about real connections with the people that work here. It’s learning how to become a leader that empowers my team to provide the same level of service I would provide to a customer. Together, we’re not just buying houses, we’re building trust with our customers, with each other, and creating a community of trust and growth. 

Prior to working in the medical industry, Ben earned his Bachelors degree in Telecommunications and a Masters in Education from Ball State University.

Ben has a wife, Kortney, who handles a lot of the graphic design and marketing for the company. Ben and Kortney are parents to their 5-year-old son, Nolan, their 2-year-old daughter, Josie and they just welcomed a new baby girl named Fiona.

In his spare time, Ben enjoys playing with Nolan, playing golf, and competing in the World Series of Poker. Ben is happy to answer any real estate related questions you have.

Kortney handles a lot of the graphic design and visual marketing for Ben Buys Indy Houses. She also helps Ben with some of the day-to-day administrative responsibilities that come with operating the company.

Kortney earned her Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts Management from Ball State University and has over 12 years of creative graphic design and print experience.

Kortney is also Ben’s wife. They have a 5-year old son named Nolan, a 2-year old daughter named Josie and a newborn baby girl named Fiona.

In her spare time Kortney keeps busy with their children, but she also enjoys spending time with friends and family, being crafty and traveling.

After spending the last 15+ years in the Wealth Management and HR Industries, Brad is thrilled to join the Ben Buys Indy Houses team as its Director of Operations. Brad believes strongly in the value proposition the Ben Buys Indy Houses team brings to the table for customers, and looks forward to helping grow the organization in the years ahead. In his free time, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife of over 20 years and their two children.

Myles ensures everything runs smoothly here at Ben Buys Indy Houses. She’s the one answering the phones and following up with customers after they complete the form on our website. Myles will be your first point of contact and she is responsible for getting all the necessary information Ben needs to make an offer on your property.

Myles has over a decade of customer service experience and prides herself on providing the best customer care possible for sellers.

In her free time, she enjoys staying at home and cuddling up next to a long novel.

Isaiah is responsible for reviewing the unique selling needs of our customers, evaluating comparable sales data, and inspecting properties to determine the cash value of the property.  Once this process is complete, he will speak with each customer individually in order to customize a cash offer package with terms that are suitable for each sellers’ unique needs.

In Isaiah’s free time he enjoys the great outdoors and spending time with his wife, Trisha, and two children, Evie and Waylyn.  Isaiah has a passion for creating win-win opportunities and providing an ever-escalating standard of service to his customers and team.

Craig is the proud husband of Chelsea and the father of three beautiful girls Victoria, Charlotte, and Josie. In Craig’s time away from work he enjoys watching and coaching his daughters in all sports. Craig loves spending time outdoors; camping, hunting, and fishing are some of his favorite hobbies to do with friends and family!

Craig is a problem solver that thrives in finding creative solutions to any problem in his way. Craig enjoys getting to know our sellers to find out what their individual needs are, and tailoring our services around them.

Charlie is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, as he was born and raised here. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Informatics from IUPUI, and once he completes that, he plans to pursue a Master’s degree in the same field.

Over the years, Charlie has learned a lot about business and entrepreneurship from his father and uncle, who have been a central part of the ticketing industry in Indianapolis for nearly thirty years. Growing up in the office, Charlie has always had a knack for business, entrepreneurship, and creativity.

Charlie is our Acquisition Assistant, and he is an adaptable problem-solver that values relationships with every customer. He has three younger brothers, and in his free time, he enjoys traveling and trying new things. Charlie also orchestrates the creation of applications and websites with his own software development company as a “side-hustle” in his free time.

After 10+ years as a welder, Levi is now excited to pursue his passion for property investment by joining the Ben Buys Indy Houses team.

In his free time, Levi loves to spend time hiking, kayaking, and camping with his wife, Lauren, and their golden retriever, Sylvie (he wishes his cat, Izzy, could join but she would rather stay indoors)

Alex will be a point of contact if you’re working on purchasing one of our investment properties. Alex will communicate the details of a particular property, coordinate showings, negotiate offers, and learn more about your unique investment criteria so that he can help you successfully invest with our team. Travis and Alex work as a team to connect investors to all of our inventory.

Kaleb is a family man who is proud to be a husband to his lovely wife Paige, and a happy father to his two daughters June and Lennon. Before joining the team, he spent 8 years in the pipe trades. However, now he is most excited about building relationships with sellers and getting them fast-tracked to their next destinations in life.

When he’s not working, Kaleb loves to spend his free time fishing with his daughters and spending time with friends. There’s nothing like relaxing by a fire, telling stories, and sharing laughs with the people you love.

Claire is the English member of our team and has lived in the US for the last 15 years. Claire is passionate about property investment and development.  She has a keen eye for a deal and works with our clients to maximize their returns while also satisfying the goals of our business.  Claire is a great communicator and is quick on her feet which means that once a deal is agreed our clients usually receive their funds quickly.  Her business is based on trust and honesty.  Claire is flexible, reliable and consultative and takes full ownership of all her deals to make sure that they get across the line.

Claire is married to Nate and together they have 3 young children who occupy most of their free time.  When time allows, Claire enjoys travelling to England to catch up with her family and friends.

Lacey helps with the transaction process when purchasing and selling properties. She graduated from IUPUI with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and English in 2023. In three words, Lacey would describe herself as: creative, sentimental, and curious.

Outside of work, she loves to focus on what fills her cup. This includes reading, exercising, and spending time with those close to her.

I want to treat every customer the same way I want to be treated. I spend most of my free time bonding with my two beautiful daughters, Lianne and Lyrie. I also enjoy playing online games.

I maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers at all times. I would like to ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

During my free time, I am usually playing with my dogs, watching movies, and/or bonding with my kids.
